Caldecote Church of England Academy Receives Clevertouch Screen

We are delighted to gift Caldecote Church of England Academy in Biggleswade a brand-new Clevertouch screen to help enhance their pupil's education.

The 65” interactive touch screen for the Biggleswade-based school is the latest gift in our Free IT Equipment For Schools Campaign. Previously, St Edwards C of E School and Bournes Green Infant & Junior Schools were worthy recipients.

We would like to thank Steven Eagell Toyota, without whom this campaign would not have been possible. Steven Eagell Toyota needed to upgrade a large amount of IT and reprographics equipment. Rather than simply recycling the old equipment; we took the time to refurbish and sell it and then used 100% of the funds to purchase new equipment to donate to local schools.

We spoke to Mrs Sarah Campbell, the Headteacher at Caldecote Church of England Academy. “What a great gift from KJL Document Solutions and Steven Eagell Toyota Letchworth! It will make a real difference to the school and it’s really nice to get something of this value donated by two local companies, so thank you very much indeed. The Clevertouch Interactive Whiteboard is a great piece of equipment and will add real value to the school, benefitting our children greatly.

Such a great idea to sell off the old, end of contract IT equipment that still has some life in it, rather than just recycling it and then using the proceeds to buy brand new equipment like this, to donate to schools like ours, brilliant!”
