• Our Free IT Equipment For Schools Campaign Gets Underway

Posted By James on September 27, 2021

We have been working with one of our principal clients to raise money to donate IT equipment to schools in the local community.

Steven Eagell Toyota had asked the KJL Group to upgrade a large amount of IT and reprographics equipment and rather than simply recycling the old equipment, we took the time to refurbish and sell it and then used 100% of the funds to purchase new equipment to donate to local schools.

We nominated St Edwards C of E Primary School in Romford as our first recipient, and they chose a shiny new Clevertouch 65” interactive display for their Library.

Headteacher Christopher Speller said, “we are delighted to have been able to be part of KJL Group & Steven Eagell Toyota’s free IT equipment for schools’ campaign. KJL have provided us with excellent service over many years and it is great to work with a company that also gives back to their customers. The Clevertouch screen will transform one of our learning spaces and we cannot wait to get using it.”

KJL Group Director, Alex Cook, who has been driving the project forward said, “it’s great to be in a position to help local schools, many of which have also been loyal customers over the years. I also wish to thank Steven Eagell Toyota, as, without their mutual support, we would not have been able to run this programme. We have at least another 4 schools yet to benefit in the coming weeks."

We would also like to thank the team at Clevertouch for supporting this campaign by giving us a discount on their 65” interactive display screen, which will no doubt benefit everyone at St Edwards C of E School.
